COVID-19 Donation Update
4Girls 4Change
Saturday, May 15
Dear All,

We made our own small contribution today (and not connected to your donations for our ongoing two local projects) to help with the current dire COVID situation in India. Thanks to our parents who 3x matched our combined "pocket money" donations, we were able to contribute $2,000.

We donated to three Washington D.C. area based non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations, who are directly involved with ongoing COVID-19 relief efforts in India:

-
Center for Disease Dynamics, Economics & Policy (CDDEP), partnering with OxygenForIndia, which is working to raise funds and ensure a reliable supply of medical oxygen at home, for those in critical need.
-
Association for India's Development (AID), which is a grassroots organization currently involved with donating PPE (including surgical masks and face shields) and oxygen supplies for hospitals.
-
Project HOPE, which is rapidly mobilizing critically needed medical equipment and PPE to help health workers respond. NOTE: Through May 31, all emergency donations will be doubled 2X, up to $600,000 by a group of Project HOPE's generous supporters.
