T-Mobile

Edwige joined T-Mobile in 2020 to lead, build and transform T-Mobile's 5G network. She has over a quarter-century of experience in technology transformation and growth acceleration and has held several leadership positions within the telecom industry giants, including  Comcast NBC Universal, Verizon Wireless, and AT&T.


Edwige is passionate about championing women in technology and believes being an authentic role model in the leadership realm is part of her calling. She was recently recognized by Aleria Tech as one of the “Awesome Black Women Everyone Should Know” and by the 1 million STEM women as a Visible Role Model who inspires the next generation of girls. She also sits on several Advisory Boards driving STEM education to underserved communities. She helps organizations understand and leverage diversity; while engaging, energizing, and empowering employees to excel.


Edwige holds a bachelor's degree in Technical Management and a Master's in Business Administration from DeVry University. She also successfully completed several Executive Leadership Programs at Harvard University and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Babur B. Lateef, M.d.

Dr. Lateef was elected to serve as Chairman At-Large on November 6, 2019. He previously served in an interim capacity after the Board appointed him to fill an unexpired term in April of 2018.

Dr. Lateef is a physician and owner of Advanced Ophthalmology, Inc. in Woodbridge. He is a member of the Board of Directors of SPARK, the education foundation for PWCS. He is a member of the Board of Visitors for the University of Virginia and vice chairman of the University of Virginia Health System Board. He is also a PTO member at Marshall Elementary, Benton Middle School, and Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.

Dr. Lateef is a graduate of Youngstown State University and Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He also serves as an assistant clinical professor at George Washington University.

Liz is a results-driven, people-focused leader with nearly 20 years of management consulting experience working with clients to set strategic direction, manage priority initiatives to achieve results, improve organizational performance, maximize the potential of resources, and build stakeholder support and collaboration.

 

Liz has partnered with clients across the nonprofit, commercial, and federal sectors and currently leads Eagle Hill Consulting’s nonprofit practice. Engagement highlights include identifying opportunities for a national advocacy organization to re-organize its administrative functions to drive back-office efficiencies and collaborating with a global development organization to identify top priority operational improvements to enhance collaboration across field offices and headquarters and build the functional capabilities of staff.

 

Throughout her career, Liz has built collaborative teams, developed emerging leaders, led growth to exceed revenue goals, and overseen multi-million dollar budgets. She is passionate about both bringing long-term, sustainable impact to her clients and developing others to achieve their full potential.

 

Liz holds a bachelor's degree in Government from Colby College and a Change Management Advanced Practitioner certification from Georgetown University. Prior to joining Eagle Hill, she worked with Booz Allen Hamilton.  In her free time, Liz enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her husband (Mark) and their rescue dog (Iggy).

Nyla Beth has more than two decades of experience as a business strategist focused on technology’s transformational impact on organizations and their missions. She is currently the senior vice president of corporate strategy and enterprise sales enablement at SAIC.  Prior to joining SAIC in 2020, Mrs. Gawel was the director of public sector strategy at Verizon Business Group, focused on aligning its products, network offerings, and business planning to address the complex needs of government and education institutions. She also spent 13 years at Booz Allen Hamilton, rising to the position of vice president in the company’s Strategic Innovation group. Under her leadership, the company launched its award-winning innovation center and solution group. 

 

Nyla Beth is active in many professional and community organizations. At SAIC, she is the executive sponsor of the Women’s Employee Resource Group, which champions the growth of all women at the company. Mrs. Gawel also serves on the National Capital Area Board of Directors for the American Red Cross, as a Girl Scout Brownie troop leader, an elected deacon for the National Presbyterian Church, and previously on the Playworks Mid-Atlantic Board of Directors.

She graduated from Georgetown with a  bachelor’s degree in foreign service. She also holds professional certifications in Intelligent Risk-Raking, Innovation Management, and Federal Grants Management.  She lives in Bethesda, MD with her husband, two children, and two rescue dogs.
