On March 1st, 4Girls 4Change participated in the Kerala Cultural Society of Metropolitan Washington (KCSMW) Women’s Forum Annual Charity Dinner, “Sneha Sangeetham”. It was an evening filled with music, fun, games, and giving! We were so grateful for the opportunity to build a new partnership with KCSMW and also speak at the event.

As part of the 4Girls 4Change "Do Good For Do-Gooders" flagship fundraising initiative, we were able to raise and contribute $2,000 to the Snehalayam Project 2025 - a wonderful KCSMW Women’s Forum initiative launched in 2017. Our planned partnership and contribution to this project is aimed to help them reach closer to their goal of building homes for deserving families for this year.

The KCSMW Women’s Forum is a group of women in the Washington D.C. community that connects, educates, and supports women of all ages. Every year, they help build a home and give hope to the deserving families in Kerala, India. The Womens’ Forum envisions that “Together, our kindness can make this world a safer place, one home at a time”.

Thank you to KCSMW 2025 Women’s forum leaders, Dr. Asha Potti and Lekshmi Pillai, and President, Anish Senan, for inviting us to learn about the Snehalayam project and be a part of it. We hope to continue to collaborate and contribute to this awe-inspiring effort.
