I have some GREAT news to share!
In November, I won the $10,000 Be More Fund grant for my "Reduce Food Wastage in Local Restaurants" project from The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS).
I was one of 10 winners from 15 finalists at the November 18-19 Be More-A-Thon event in Atlanta, who were invited to pitch our projects to a "Shark Tank" type panel of judges.
This project is an extension of my Girl Scouts Gold Award-winning "Reduce Food Wastage in Local McDonald's Restaurants" project and is being scaled through 4Girls 4Change to work with smaller "Mom-and-Pop" local restaurants.
