Together we did it! 1,000+ lbs of food donated and counting.
In February 2021, four girls united and believed that long-term and sustainable change starts with our local community. Thus 4Girls 4Change was born!
Our first project, Do Good for Do-Gooders is our flagship project to support the noble cause of "do-gooders" in our local community. We partnered with three wonderful organizations that provide food, shelter, and other services to those in need in our community. With the support of local grocery stores, friends, and family, we 4Girls 4Change have been able to distribute over 1,000 pounds of food to our local partners.
We are extremely grateful to be partnering with The StreetLight, Food for Others, and Northern Virginia Food Rescue to make the change we believe we can in our local community. We are truly honored to be a part of their work helping those in need. Thank you to our partners for being our inspiration and mentors as we learn from this opportunity.
A huge thank you also to all our donors: Costco, Harris Teeter, Giant, Safeway, Food Lion, Sam’s Club, BJ’s, and our friends and family. They have made it possible for us to not only donate food once or twice to our partners but also meet OUR MISSION of supporting long-term and sustainable change within our local community.
Finally, we continue to aspire and work towards OUR VISION of building a non-profit organization that inspires kids to start small and dream big.
